Sorrel Everything!!! Try this easy to prepare Sorrel Party Wings courtesy of Sir Henry.
2 lbs chicken wings
1 cup Sir Henry Sorrel Cordial
1/4 cup butter (melted)
1/4 cup hot pepper sauce
1 cup vegetable oil
In sauce pan, mix together Sir Henry Sorrel, melted butter and hot pepper sauce. Boil for 10 minutes, over low heat and set aside.
Cut chicken wings in half separating drumette (little leg) from wing. Rub chicken with salt and pepper, Heat oil and fry until golden brown. Drain excess oil from chicken, and then toss in sorrel sauce until they are evenly coated. Place on party trays, garnish and serve as appetizer.
