Pudding Mixture

1 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp vanilla
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 cups whole milk
1 tbsp white rum (optional)
Pinch of salt

Pudding Mixture

1 med loaf of bread (brown/white)
8 eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
227g butter
3 tbsp cinnamon powder
Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup to decorate (optional)

  • Large bowl

  • Metal Whisk

Ingredients

  • Pudding Mixture

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp vanilla

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

  • 2 cups whole milk

  • 1 tbsp white rum (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

  • Pudding Mixture

  • 1 med loaf of bread (brown/white)

  • 8 eggs

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 227g butter

  • 3 tbsp cinnamon powder

  • Hershey's Chocolate Syrup to decorate (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Butter the slices of bread and put one layer in a 9-inch round cake tin that has been greased and floured lightly.

Then sprinkle some of the chocolate chips and 1 tbsp of cinnamon powder as well. Do this for about 2 or more layers or until the tin is filled.

In a large bowl with a metal whisk, beat the eggs and salt together, then mix in the sugar, milk, vanilla, white rum (optional) and cinnamon.

Then pour the mixture all over the pudding layers and press in the mixture with your hand or a spatula and rest for about 2 minutes for the mixture to soak into the layers of bread.

Place in the oven on the middle rack and bake for 45mins - 1 hour or until a knife inserted comes out clean.

Remove from the oven, let cool for about 10-15 mins (drizzle chocolate syrup on top) and enjoy.
