How do you start your day?

With this Raisin Oats & Cinnamon French Toast recipe with peanut butter stuffed with strawberry jam covered in maple syrup of course 🙂

4 slices of Raisin Oats & Cinnamon bread
4 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 cup whole milk
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp strawberry jam
2 tbsp maple syrup
Strawberries and icing sugar (optional)

Raisin Oats & Cinnamon French Toast Recipe

Equipment

  • 4 slices of bread

  • 4 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • Strawberries and icing sugar (optional)

Instructions

Spread the peanut butter of each slice of Raisin Oats & Cinnamon bread and make two sandwiches with them.

In a flat bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, cinnamon, milk and vanilla.

In a small bowl, mix the jam and syrup.

Melt the butter in a large nonstick pan on medium-high heat

Dunk the sandwiches in the egg mixture for a few seconds on each side.

Cook the sandwiches on each side for about 2 minutes or until browned.

To serve, top with the strawberry jam syrup and strawberries and icing sugar.
