Try this delicious vegetable casserole that will make you warm through the coldest weather.
Ingredients
2 lbs Vegetables of your choice (carrots, chochos, string beans, parboiled potatoes etc.)
1 large Onion (sliced)
1 tsp Salt
3 tsp Butter or Margarine
3 tsp Flour
2 cup Milk
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease a medium casserole dish with butter
- Peel and slice vegetables
- Lay half of the vegetables in casserole dish with sliced onions
- Mix flour and salt
- Sprinkle half of flour mixture on sliced vegetables and dot with half of butter
- Lay remaining sliced vegetables and sprinkle with remainder of flour mixture. Dot with remaining butter.
- Pour milk over and bake for 45 minutes at allow sauce to cook
- Serve hot
