1 Mins read

The easiest, most delicious way to prepare shrimp is at home, grilled in the oven (if you don’t own a grill of course)! You’re going to absolutely love these Spicy Stout Glazed Shrimp Skewers.

Ingredients
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup stout
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp dijon mustard
1 pk Maggi Season-up Fish
1 tsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp fresh thyme (finely chopped)
1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup onion (grated)
2 tbsp escallion (finely chopped)

Method
In a small bowl whisk together garlic, honey, strout, red pepper flakes, mustard, Maggi Season-up fish, soy sauce and cayenne pepper. Add shrimp and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Remove the shrimp from marinade (reserve the marinade) and thread through wooden skewers

In a pot over medium high heat, add olive oil.

Add onions and saute until transparent, about 3 minutes.

Add marinade and boil, stirring frequently for about 8 minutes, until reduced and thickened.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place Shrimp on a baking sheet covered with foil and brush liberally with glaze.

Bake for 10 minutes, brushing with glaze every 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with escallion prior to serving.
