1 can pineapple (reserve juice)
1 cup large strawberries (halved)
Vanilla ice cream
Pineapple Rum Sauce
Pineapple juice (reserved from can)
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp dark rum
Heat gas grill. Lightly oil.
Place pineapple on the heated grill and grill for 4 minutes or until lighted charred.
Flip the slices over and grill for another 3 to 4 minutes until lightly charred.
Remove to a plate. Top with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with pineapple sauce.
Garnish with sliced strawberries.
Sauce: Place pineapple juice and sugar in a small saucepan. Reduce until thickened. Remove from heat, add rum and stir.
