Try this easy to prepare Green Banana Bun by Jennifer Esty-Davis
1 cup fruit wine
1 bottle stout
3 tsp browning
1/3 cup melted margarine
1 beaten egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp bun spice
3 cups flour
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp mix spice
1/8 tsp sodium propionate
1 tbsp baking powder
1 cup mix fruits (half blended)
Dissolve sugar in stout. Add browning, margarine, beaten egg, vanilla and bun spice.
In a bowl, mix flour, nutmeg, mixed spice, sodium propionate and baking powder.
Gradually add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, beat well after each addition.
Bake in a greased loaf pan at 160 degree C or 320 degree F for about 45 minutes.
