Sauce tends to be both an afterthought in the kitchen and a necessity around the dinner table. Try this easy to make beer sauce recipe by Kenrick Anthony Stewart.
Ingredients
1 bay leaf
1 sprig thyme
1 slice onion
4 fl oz white wine
4 fl oz beer
12 oz butter (cubed)
3 fl oz heavy cream
Method
Place onion, thyme, bay leaf and wine in a shallow pot.
Reduce by half.
Add heavy cream, allow to hot.
Add butter, gradually, while whisking over low flames.
Add beer.
Remove and strain.
