Nobody knows how to get the best out of Appleton Estate rum like their own Master Blender, Joy Spence. This oh-so-simple cocktail is quick, refreshing and utterly delicious. With refreshing orange tones, this simple rum cocktail is an all-season pleaser.

Equipment

  • Lowball glass

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Appleton Estate Reserve Blend

  • 3 oz ginger ale

  • 5 drops Angostura bitters

  • Slice of orange

  • Ice

  • Orange peel (garnish)

Instructions

Method

Squeeze the orange slice into a highball glass, then drop slice into the glass and muddle it.

Add ice, and build in remaining ingredients. Stir, and garnish with orange peel. Serve immediately.
