Enjoy a juicy bonafide burger with cheese, tomato slices, red onion and an array of your favorite toppings, all wrapped up in lettuce.
Ingredients
1 box Bonafide scotch bonnet burger patty
4 large lettuce leaves (1 per burger)
1-2 tablespoon per burger Thousand island dressing (or your favourite salad dressing)
2 tablespoons per burger Sharp cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon per burger Red Onion
1 tablespoon per burger Tomato
1 teaspoon per burger sweet relish
Directions
Finely chop onions and tomatoes
Shred sharp cheddar cheese
Clean and dry four large lettuce leaves
Heat pan or grill to medium-high heat
Add Bonafide scotch bonnet burger patty
Cook for 3-5 minutes per side (or until desired colour and texture is obtained), then remove from heat
Take one lettuce leaf and spread a layer of dressing
Add the burger patty
Top with relish, cheese, onions, tomatoes and more dressing
Fold over with the lettuce, using a toothpick to secure if necessary
Serve and enjoy
