MAGGI Pepperpot Soup

Soup is a great option for a family’s main meal, is easy on the budget, and is healthy. Soups are easy-to-make, flavourful dishes that can be enjoyed any time of day, any day of the year. Try this easy to prepare MAGGI Pepperpot Soup today!

Ingredients
6 cups water
2 tbsp garlic (crushed)
1/2 tsp pimento berries
1/2 cup Maggi Coconut Milk Powder
1/2 lb potato (sliced)
3 cups callaloo (shredded)
1/2 cup carrot (diced)
1/2 cup chocho (diced)
1/4 onion (chopped)
1/2 escallion (chopped)
3 tbsp fresh thyme
3 med. Scotch Bonnet peppers (whole)
1 pk Maggi Vegetable Soup Mix
2 Maggi Vegetable Seasoning Cubes

Method
In a medium pot, bring water to a boil. Add garlic, pimento berries and Maggi Coconut Milk Powder. Boil until the aromas are released, approx. 10 mins.

Add potatoes, callaloo, carrot, chocho and onion and continue cooking for 10-15 mins.

Add the escallion, thyme, whole Scotch Bonnet peppers, Maggi Vegetable Soup Mix and Maggi Seasoning Cubes, to taste, and simmer for another 10 mins. to allow seasoning to dissolve and blend.

Stir and serve as desired.
